
When: Friday, July 03Celebration from 6-10 p.m.
Seating:
Please plan on bringing a blanket or chair for seating. Seating will be available on Main Street, the grass area in front of the library, and any other open areas on or around Main Street.
Downtown shops and restaurants will remain open for the event.
Vendors will be on site to offer a variety of food for purchase and Big Star Burgers, and the Farmers Market will be open during the event.
Can I bring a cooler?
Yes, but please don’t bring alcoholic beverages or glass containers.
Parking and wheelchair accessible parking:
Parking is available at Coyle Middle School, Herfurth Park and Coyle Street.
DART Shuttles will run from DART Park, 5000 Martin Drive, Rowlett, Texas and Rowlett High School 4700 Kirby Rd.
Wheelchair accessible parking is at the southwest corner of Commerce and Main Street and the Rowlett City Hall parking lot located at Skyline and Main.
Children’s activities:
Bounce houses, crafts and games will be set up for the kids. Music and fun activities provided by local businesses.
Performers:
The performers will begin at 6:00 pm starting with Rowlett’s own Jaci Butler, then Mat Morris, and the final music performance with Jonnie Blanco, playing new hits, classic rock and Texas country. Fireworks will follow the last music performance.
