The City of Fate will host the fourth Annual Celebrate Fate on Saturday, September 23 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Robert Smith Family Park located at CD Boren Parkway and Highway 66.
The City has prepared a free celebration for the community with kids’ activities, food, live music by the LIVE 5 Band and a firework show to cap off the evening. Patrons are encouraged to shop at the more than thirty vendor booths.
Mayor Lorne Megyesi shared “Celebrate Fate is a great event to bring the community together to play and enjoy the quality lifestyle Fate has to offer.”
The first two-thousand festival goers will receive a ticket for a free meal sponsored by: In and Out Burger®, Along Came Tamale, Mona Lisa Pizza, Mack’s BBQ and Legacy BBQ. In addition, a limited number of free festival t-shirts and goody bags will be distributed while supplies last.
On-street parking will be available along CD Boren Parkway and at Miss May Vernon Elementary School. Limited handicap parking is accessible at the school.
Families are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blankets and/or lawn chairs to spend the evening enjoying music and fireworks show.
