Helping Hands Health Center

Health Center of Helping Hands at the Reeves Center

The Health Center of Helping Hands is operated out of the Reeves Service Center at 401 W Rusk Street, Suite 100. We serve insured, uninsured and underinsured residents of Rockwall County as well as Medicaid and Medicare recipients.

Little known fact: Our patients, who are insured and can pay, help cover the costs of those that need our sliding scale program!

Rockwall County residents living at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level may qualify for fees based on a sliding scale.

Our qualified medical staff consists of Family Nurse Practitioners, medical assistants, lab technicians, and a variety of volunteer physicians in the fields of OB-GYN, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine and Family Practice. Our volunteer physicians generously donate all their time and expertise to our patients at the health center.

This is one of the programs of Rockwall County Helping Hands, the primary social service agency in the county for individuals and families facing a financial crisis or healthcare need.

Check out our Health Maintenance Plan which is not exclusive for Rockwall County. This program provides preventative care to the uninsured. This is great for the self employed, realtors, small business owners, and those with minimal health coverage. With Healthcare rates continuing to rise, more and more cannot afford quality Healthcare.

The Health Maintenance Card includes: 4 office visits, annual exam for women, PSA exam for male, set of labs (CBC, lipid panel, CMP, HGB A1c, and UA) and A flu shot.

If you use all visits then it is just $45 for an additional office visit.

The cost...only $305 you know we can sometimes spend that in one visit! We are conveniently located in Rockwall off of Hwy 66.

All care plans are assessed for every patient and follow-up visits are encouraged. The Health Center has proven to be a medical home for many in our community.

Children’s health is another emphasis of the Health Center since sick children miss days at school while their parents lose days at work. Vaccinations, sports physicals, and well child check-ups are also available at low costs. Eye exams and dental exams are arranged with partner providers for those in need, but cannot afford to pay.
