RCB has grown to 50+ members. The community band provides a fun, social environment for musicians to practice and perform their art. An all-volunteer organization, RCB is an ensemble with diverse ages, talents, and professions playing brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Community concerts include a variety of music of marches, orchestral transcriptions and traditional band pieces.
The Rockwall Community Band's purpose is for educational and charitable purposes, through the promotion of music education to our performing members and the community, through provisions and assistance from the public and others via educational and training programs and scholarships.
