Congratulations ~ when’s the big day? For a romantic atmosphere I wanted to suggest the French restaurant at The Harbor, but they’re closed temporarily. Have you been to Blue Canyon? The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. I’d request a table in the back, near a window. They seem to automatically seat people in the front area or the library. Not sure if we were just there on a night when the good tables were taken. That’s why I’d suggest making a reservation and requesting a special table in advance. If you have time you should stop in ahead of time and check it out.
A couple of new restaurants have opened downtown - Ava and Bin 303. Not on the water, but I’ve heard they are nice. Again, stop in and check out their menus and seating. Most restaurants are happy to reserve a place for you for special occasions. Zanata is always a good choice for excellent food and lively atmosphere, but probably not the quiet romantic experience you’re looking for on your anniversary.
