DallasNews.com - A diver recovered the body of a Mesquite teen who drowned when his boat capsized on Lake Ray Hubbard last weekend.
Kiefer Holman, 18, was on the lake with friends about 2:15 p.m. Saturday when their 15-foot canoe flipped in gusty winds near Barnes Bridge Park, police said.
The others managed to swim to a buoy, but Holman couldn’t make it to shore in the stiff wind. Divers had been searching for him since he disappeared.
