Diabetes Education Program

Update: The registration deadline for the Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes program has been extended until April 5, 2011. This 9-lesson diabetes education program provides information about type 2 diabetes. Participants who complete the program report better blood glucose management, lower A1c levels, and healthier eating habits. Lesson will take place at the Rockwall County Extension office, 1350 East Washington Street, Rockwall, TX, 75087, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, and May 5th. Registration fee is $15.00 and includes all lesson materials and healthy snacks at each session.
Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Rockwall County will present a 9-lesson diabetes education program called Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes. By attending these lessons you’ll:
● Get the facts from diabetes experts and educational
professionals
● Meet others that have the same concerns you do
● Ask the questions you want answered
● Learn in a supportive, caring environment
● Take home recipes and references you can share with family & friends
● Get the encouragement you need to make positive changes
● Learn how you can do well and be well with diabetes
