Lake Pointe Health Network (LPHN) recently made a presentation of $5000 for the Rowlett Relay for Life. This is the 6th straight year that LPHN has been the Presenting Sponsor of the Rowlett Relay for Life. The Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives our community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. This year’s event is themed “The Amazing Race to a Cure” and will take place Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Rowlett High School beginning at 7:00pm until 7:00am.
The presentation took place at the newest addition to the LPHN, the Lake Pointe Cancer Center (LPCC) located at 7501 Lakeview Parkway, Suite 120 in Rowlett (972-526-7555). The LPCC offers comprehensive cancer treatment that includes radiation therapy using some of the latest technology available right here in the Rowlett community.
