Shores resident, Connie Jackson, heard rumors of an alligator seen on Lake Ray Hubbard, near The Shores subdivision. On Saturday, May 9, her brother-in-law captured an image of the creature with the camera on his cell phone.
Connie said, "We went out at 5pm Sunday and saw him sunbathing. He looks to be 12 feet long. With binoculars we could also see a mouth full of teeth."
The recent sighting has some wondering if this is the same alligator that made news last summer. Since the new sighting, just off the 12th hole of The Shores Golf Course, curious residents have been keeping an eye out for another look at our mysterious gator neighbor.
