5-year-old Ethan Tate, with his mother Katrina Tate, gets a special ride on a John Deere from Preston Barlow of Ag-Power of Terrell. Ethan was the guest of honor last week at "March For Ethan," a fundraiser hosted by Joe Willy's of Rockwall and the parents and staff of Jones Elementary, where Ethan is a kindergartner.
Ethan was diagnosed with leukemia in January and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The fundraising event included face painting, a visit from Fox 4 News, and a special presentation of gifts for Ethan from Ag-Power and John Deere. The immense outpouring of community support was evident as the long lines stretched out in front of Joe Willy's the entire evening.
