Helping Hands is dealing with tough times and stretching resources to help the less fortunate in Rockwall County – and we need your help now more than ever. The Season of Giving isn’t over – It’s all year long - by giving generously to your hometown assistance agency.

We are all feeling the economic pinch so just imagine how difficult it is for those that were barely making it in better times.

Helping Hands has been in business more than 30 years offering critical assistance with shelter payments, utilities, food and clothing – and we’ve done a good job of it thanks to the generous and dependable Rockwall community.

But offering critical assistance in critical times makes it difficult to serve all those needing a safety net to continue housing and feeding their families. There was a 40 percent increase in the people we served in 2008 compared to 2007 – and we expect an even larger increase this year.
