Rockwall Police Department Joins National Online Crime Map

Rockwall, Texas – Have you ever seen police activity in your neighborhood and wanted to know what was going on? Do you want to find out how safe your neighborhood really is? The Rockwall Police Department has become one of more than 600 agencies sharing local crime information to the public via an online service that maps out local crime incidents. Visitors to the web site www.CrimeReports.com can check out their community's crime map. Interactive prompts allow visitors to focus on certain areas in the community. Markers provide locations of crimes such as: Assault - Breaking & Entering / Burglary - Theft from Vehicle - Theft, along with options to view where register sex offenders are residing.
