Royse City Police / Fire Departments Sponsor Thanksgiving Food Drive

Royse City, Texas – The Royse City Police and Fire Departments are sponsoring a Thanksgiving Food Drive for families in need, who reside inside within the city limits of Royse City or for those whose children attend RCISD.
The food drop-off locations include Texas Leadership Bank, American National Bank, the Royse City Police Department, Fire Department, City Hall, the First United Methodist Church, and Careers in Dental Assisting, and State Farm Insurance. The aforementioned businesses are also co-sponsors of the food drive.
Requested donations include cash to purchase the turkeys, canned vegetables, canned sweet potatoes, gravy packets, corn bread mix, cranberry sauce, boxed potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie mix, and pie shells.
Family nomination forms may be obtained at all drop-off locations and will need to be completed and turned into the Royse City Police Department, located at 100 W Main St., Royse City, Texas no later than November 11, 2011.
The food baskets will be delivered by Royse City Police and Fire Department personnel and volunteers on November 22, 2011. The Departments are looking forward to assisting the Royse City Community. Please help us support our community with donations.
