Rockwall, Texas – June 30, 2017 – The City of Rockwall has a whole host of activities planned to celebrate the Fourth of July next week.
On Tuesday, July 4, the day starts with a parade at 11 a.m. that begins at Utley Middle School on TL Townsend Drive and ends at Dobbs Elementary on Clark Street.
Next is a party at Harry Myers Park from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the kids’ playground and free hot dogs until they run out. Kona Ice will be there to satisfy your craving for snow cones.
Then, later in the evening, there will be live music from The Rub from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m.
Mingling Mouth and another vendor will be on hand selling a variety of food.
Fireworks start at dusk, with seating on the south side grand lawn in the park.
