Nine new restaurants will open soon in the City of Rockwall

Update: A ninth restaurant has been added to the list of new restaurants opening soon in the City of Rockwall.

The list of new eating establishments includes:

• Mellow Mushroom: A trendy eatery featuring specialty pizza
(next to Logans Roadhouse on the south side of Interstate 30);
• Raising Canes: Features chicken strip dinners (in front of Costco at I30 and State Highway 205).
• Luby’s: A cafeteria in business more than 65 years (in front of Costco).
• Fuddruckers: Specializes in hamburgers (in front of Costco, same building as Luby’s).
• Rosa’s Café: A one-owner chain Mexican restaurant (in front of Costco).
• Dunkin’ Donuts: Offers a variety of donuts and sandwiches
(Farm-to-Market 740 & Summer Lee Dr.).
• Family Table: Owned by Steve Weir, previous owner of The Candy Shop. Family focused with meals made from scratch (Downtown in old county annex building on Fannin St.).
• Denny’s: A national chain 24-hour diner (the former site of Burger King on the I30 service road).

#9 on the new list is The Londoner Pub and Grill: The eatery serves authentic British food such as Fish and Chips and Shepherds Pie, along with American food. It will be located at the former site of Cayote Rojo on North Fannin Street.
