Celebrate Fate, Texas!
Come enjoy the fifth annual family friendly Celebrate Fate on Saturday, September 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fate City Hall, 1900 CD Boren Parkway!
Update (Due to Weather):
We are moving to the indoor location of Miss May Vernon Elementary School, 100 Miss May Drive. All activities will remain with exception of the Bike Derby and the Fireworks. We have rescheduled them to a future event. So, if you would like a FREE meal, FREE kids activities, TONS of craft shopping and the LIVE MUSIC of the Mars Hill band… the party is still on! PLUS, one lucky person will win a brand new bike and MANY people will go home with a new bike helmet. Parking will be at Miss May Vernon, Robert Smith Family Park and Fate City Hall.

There will be plenty to do to keep visitors happy. Over 30 craft vendors are available to shop from. Local restaurants will be sampling their specialties with a “Taste of Fate.” Visitors can feast on a FREE burger by In-N-Out and children can explore all the fun and FREE kids’ activities.
The Mars Hill Band will perform from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

New this year is a bike derby with a helmet give-away (given by Gage Duke of Just Cuz Helmets Matter), and one luck winner will go home with a new bike! Kids and adults will hear a short bike safety presentation and personnel will be available for FREE helmet fittings. Participants will gather to decorate their bikes and prepare to parade around Robert Smith Family Park. Then receive rock star parking right at Fate City Hall! This event will take place prior to the beginning of the Celebrate Fate from 4 to 5 p.m.

Fireworks start at about 7:30 p.m. grab your seat and enjoy the best firework show in the Dallas area!
The first 1,600 festival goers will receive a FREE meal sponsored by: In-N-Out Burger®
Taste of Fate
Local Fate restaurants will also offering a limited number of FREE dinners to get a taste of what Fate has to offer.
Drinks and Snack Items
Snacks and drinks will also be sold this year. Snack items items include cotton candy, Italian ice, snow-cones and pies.
Families are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blankets and/or lawn chairs to spend the evening enjoying music and the fireworks show.
A limited number of free festival t-shirts and goody bags will be distributed while supplies last.
On-street parking will be available along CD Boren Parkway, at Miss May Vernon Elementary School and Billie Stevenson Elementary. Limited handicap parking is accessible at the schools. Bike parking will be available at Fate City Hall.
