Due to Inclement weather Founders Day has been cancelled. There will be NO CONCERT tonight.

Visit the City of Rockwall’s Harry Myers Park on Saturday, May 18 for our annual Founders Day Celebration!

A day filled with food, fun, and of course great live music.

A variety of vendors will be on hand to tempt your shopping skills including local businesses, local non-profit organizations, clothing, jewelry, purses, art and more!

Vendor booths, activities for the kids, good food, all day entertainment and concert as the sun goes down.

Gourmet food trucks
Arts, crafts and much more!

Live music from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

The festival will feature 4 great bands prior to the big show on the Southwest Kia of Rockwall Main stage acts!


2019 Founders Day Festival Dallas-Harley Davidson Day Stage Lineup:

10:00 – 11:15 am: Ira Bradford & Bustin’ Loose: Country Music Variety

11:45 am – 1:00 pm: Madison Paige Country:  This Fort Worth resident is an Independent Singer and Songwriter with roots from Houston, TX.

1:30 – 3:00 pm: The Rockmolly’s – Rock N’ Roll variety:
The Rockmollys are full time professional musicians. Band members have performed all over the world and in the studio sharing the stage with bands and artist like Don Henley, The Jacksons, Lynard Skynard, Goo Goo Dolls, and many more. Performing Classic Rock from the 50’s-60’s-70’s-80’s-90’s!

3:30 – 5:00 pm: Coral Creek – Bluegrass:
Nationally acclaimed Colo-Caribbean Newgrazz band featuring the original music of Chris Thompson and Bill McKay.  Inspired by the islands and the mountains alike, Coral Creek conjures a unique vibe, delivering big sounds and high-energy shows that appeal to audiences across the newgrass, rock and jamband spectrum.  Drawing influence from legends like John Coltrane, Jerry Garcia, Tony Rice, Professor Longhair and Dr. John, don’t be surprised when Coral Creek launches into a second line jam with tenor saxophone soaring over organ swells and a rolling banjo.

Texas Songwriter Joe Ely to Headline Rockwall Founder’s Day Festival

Enjoy fun activities all day for all ages in the Live Music Capitol of North Texas!

* Fireworks to follow Joe Ely’s performance at Harry Myers Park

This will be the 1st time Rockwall has shot fireworks off of a barge in the middle of Picken’s Lake after the headline act on the Southwest Kia of Rockwall Main Stage. The show may end but the excitement continues with 10 minutes of fireworks to cap off another incredible year of the Founders Day!

Visit Bailey House at the Rockwall Historical Museum

The Bailey House will be open to the public for the first time so you can see the remarkable interior restoration of this 1909 home. The historic reproduction wallpaper in the parlor and to the refinished original red heart pine flooring is pretty as a picture! Rockwall Art League members will be on hand with an exhibit of art from 10-5:00 on Saturday. Don’t miss taking advantage of this opportunity!
