Thank you Living Magazine readers and a special thanks to our customers who went to the effort of voting in Living Magazine’s “Best of Rockwall and Rowlett” annual contest.
Horizon Auto Center is proud to announce that we have again won the “The Best in Rockwall and Rowlett Auto Repair Center.” We are most grateful to the folks who voted us such an award.
Ken Sterling, owner of Horizon Auto Center, said there were well over 110 Auto Repair Shops (from small independent shops to dealers to giant chain stores in the voting area.) “We are very happy to be recognized for being the Best Auto Repair Shop in Rockwall and Rowlett”.
Horizon Auto Center is noted as a “One Stop Shop”. We do everything on a car except body work. We offer oil changes, tires, major and minor engine repair, tune-ups, timing belts, brakes, emissions repair, shocks and struts, steering and suspension, transmission and engine repair and replacements and everything in between.

The majority of our work is Domestic and Asian vehicles. We have the expertise and tools to service all makes and models, and have been in the same location for over 12 years. Cliff Payne, the service manager, has been with the company since almost day one and has been serving Rockwall residents since 1985. In many cases, Cliff has served 4 generations of the same family, and for others, 3 generations.
We believe the quality of our work is outstanding. However if there is ever a question or concern, the owner is in the building full-time. We are a family business, and do not answer to a dealership or a franchise. This leaves us free to meet the needs of our customers without having to deal with any corporate structure.
In addition to working on cars and trucks of any year, make or model, we are also Rockwall’s only complete Truck Accessories Store. We install everything we sell and are local in Rockwall to meet all of our customer needs between Dallas, southern Oklahoma, Arkansas and all of east Texas.
