Lake Pointe Medical Center donated $500 to the Rockwall Sheriff’s Posse for the purchase of new digital radios. Accepting a check from J. Eric Evans, CEO of Lake Pointe Medical Center and Jeff Patterson, COO of LPMC, were Rockwall Sheriff’s Posse members Jim Wardlaw (center) and Dr. Ken Alford astride Poco.
The Rockwall Sheriff’s Posse has begun a capital campaign to buy approximately 20 digital radios to replace its current inventory of analog radios that are roughly 15 years old. The cost of each radio is approximately $1,500. Residents wishing to donate to the radio campaign can give the full amount for the purchase of one radio, or can donate one half or one quarter of the cost. Any amount donated towards the purchase of the radios is appreciated. For more information about the Rockwall Sheriff’s Posse or Radio Campaign, contact Dr. Ken Alford at drkenalford@sbcglobal.net.
