In observance of National Library Week, April 12-18, the Rockwall County Library has scheduled the following special activities:
• Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m., Family Night with storyteller Esther Malone
• Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m., Books and Ballet, where the Caldecott award winner, the Girl Who Loved Wild Horses, will be told through words and ballet.
• Thursday, April 16, a come-and-go reception for Library volunteers prepared by the library staff.
On Tuesday, April 14, Judge David Sweet and the Commissioners Court will present a Proclamation marking National Library Week in Rockwall County.
Special bookmarks and pencils promoting libraries will be given out during the week.
